Regular maintenance can help extend the life of industrial hvac systems. An important part of an HVAC system is the evaporator, which is responsible for capturing outside air and converting it to heat. Condenser coils in the evaporator catch the outside air and change it into cool outside air. Carbon condensers, which use steam as a source of energy instead of electricity to create heat, are also used in industrial HV ACs. It is important for an HVAC system to be maintained because dampness inside the building can hinder the efficient performance of the system. Carbon condensers should be checked regularly for buildup by using a moistened cotton swab, and the moisture needs to be removed with a high-pressure dryer. Carbon condenser coils can experience problems in several ways. If the temperature outside fluctuates too much from the inside temperature of the building, the coils become saturated and start producing abnormal amount of heat inside the building. The other common problem is the loss of steam due to condensation. This problem can be resolved by using an exhaust fan on high or using a humidifier. Maintaining a commercial hvac system can help resolve these issues and make the system more reliable. Aside from commercial HV AC maintenance, homeowners can also perform preventive maintenance on their commercial HV ACs. Using mild detergents, dusting with a vacuum cleaner, and covering appliances with plastic film or plastic covers when not in use are just some of the tips for commercial HV AC maintenance.
